As Australia seeks to increase its economic competitiveness in the global marketplace, it is critical that the productivity of our supply chains is optimised through the ongoing development of an efficient and resilient freight system.
The I-PG plan seeks to address Australia’s requirement for “a place for freight’ through the development of fit-for-purpose infrastructure that is structured to establish a new benchmark in service delivery, efficiency and productivity whilst at the same time minimizing the impact of freight movements on both the social fabric and natural environment.
